My name is Minh
Originally born in Viet Nam –
I have lived most of my life
in Nova Scotia, Canada
For almost 29 years –
I had written mostly structured poetry
Exposed to the unstructured poetry
of Rupi Kaur in May 2021 –
I think I now “get” modern poetry
Inspired by the unstructured poetry
of Rupi Kaur in May 2021 –
I decided to make the change
This blog of unstructured poetry –
of my poetic microbursts –
is dedicated to that change –
and so that I may be free –
of that cherished –
but dated past

It is my hope that with the freer,
less structured, poetic forms
of these poems, I will be able
to average at least a poem a day
for years to come, and that
readers will enjoy them
